AU056 Signed coloured print - 'Duel of Eagles' by Robert Taylor. Bears the original signatures of top Luftwaffe ace Adolf Galland and British RAF Spitfire hero Douglas Bader. Print (13" X 18.5") has been mounted onto a board but is without frame or glass (easier on postage). Published by the Military Gallery Bath 1980 to Commemerate the 40th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain. Galland signature is in orange marker ink but the Bader signature is quite faded. This is common in these prints as he signed most of them in ballpoint Biro pen which fades when print has been in direct sunlight for a time. (See also items - OT011 + OT036 in 'Other Items of Interest' section) £145.00
I've managed to obtain the following autographs from a collector acquaintance. Some even come with the corresponding letter/ envelope. They are original signatures on post-war glossy photos unless otherwise stated. And as usual, all are 100% Genuine. (I did not realise how popular the collecting of these signatures was getting. Possibly future investments as these men are getting on in years.)
